A Night of Fashion

Need a fun night out? Be sure and stop by this Thursday, October 1st between 6-9pm, as we host our fall girls night out "A Night of Fashion." Bringing clothes in for consignment? Be sure and check out our policies and info below.

We are still accepting fall clothing for consignment. We accept infants clothing through size 14, both boys and girls, maternity clothing, and women's clothing, including plus sizes. We also are accepting infant equipment, including high chairs, exersaucers, strollers, jumparoos, bumbos, and many other items. All items and clothing need to be 3 years old or newer, clothing freshly laundered, and all equipment wiped down. Items needing batteries do need working batteries. Children's clothing should be in boxes, tubs, and bins, absolutely no plastic bags. Women's clothing needs to be on hangers (hangers will not be returned, but please ask us we usually have extra).

If you wish to drop off items we accept items Monday through Thursday between the hours of 10:30 and 4:00pm and Saturday's between 10:30 and 3:00pm. We are no longer taking items on Friday's. If these hours do not work for you please call and we can make other arrangements. We also have extended hours on Wednesday and are open until 7:00pm.

Summer Clearance sale- This Friday & Saturday 60% off original price!

This Friday and Saturday, July 24th and 25th, stop in for our summer clearance sale. We will begin clearancing summer merchandise in both the women's and children's stores. Everything red-lined will be 60% off the original price! This is a great time to stock up and save for next year.

We have started to get in a bunch of great fall items and new school uniforms are in stock. While shopping the clearance sale be sure and check out some of the great fall items that are arriving daily!

If you are able to stop by on Saturday be sure and swing by Feeder's Supply. They are celebrating 50 years and have a bunch of different activites planned throughout the day. Activities range from making a wild bird feeder to decorating dog biscuits.

Upcoming evnets at Another Time Around

1)Come Back Bucks now through July 15th- There are just a few days left to earn Come Back Bucks that can be used for back-to-school shopping. Now through July 15th recieve a $5.00 come back buck for every $25.00 you spend pre-tax. Come back bucks can be used between August 1st and 15th for any back to school shopping you may be doing.

2)20% off all women's clothing through Saturday July 11th.- If you haven't had a chance to shop our new women's store you now have the perfect excuse to stop in. Through Saturday, July 11th, all clothing in our women's store will automatically be marked down 20% from the original price. From everyday wear (shorts and tees) to formal dresses we have something for every need.

3)All Crib bedding 50% or more off original price now through July 30th- We have some beautiful bedding sets in stock and have decided to discontinue all bedding. Many sets are brand new and have never been used.

4)Friday & Saturday, July 24th and 25th, Summer Clearance Sale- All summer redlined merchandise will be 60% off the original price.

Summer happenings at Another Time Around

There is a lot of exciting happenings in the store!

1: The new women's store is fully stocked and open. Wow! Have we gotten some great items in! The selection is unbelievable, from Coach purses and B's purses, to a phenomenal selection of clothing. We have everyday wear to formal wear, and the shoes are unbelievable (especially if you are in a size 8.5-9).



2: New French Toast uniforms are now available. We are carrying both boys and girls navy slacks. We have boys sizes 4-20, and girls 4-16. Boys navy shorts are available in size 4-20. The white polo shirts (both long and short sleeved) are unisex and available in sizes 4-20. Shop early to be sure and get the sizes you need.

3: On July 13th you can start bringing in your children's fall consignments. No appointments are necessary at this time. Drop off are accepted between the hours of 10:30 and 4 M-F, and Sat 10:30-3pm. Clothing should be freshly laundered and laid neetly in boxes, tubs, or bins. Items should be no more than 3 years old. Clutter Guilt
You walk by that overstuffed closet four times a day and feel that same guilty pang every single time. Or you gaze helplessly at your overflowing closet, shoe shelves, and dresser drawers and despair about where to even start! You know you would feel infinitely better about yourself if you just dug it all out and got rid of the clutter.

You imagine the freedom of filling trashbag after trashbag and just throwing it all out...but then there's that pang of guilt again, because throwing it away is so wasteful, or you remember all the money you spent on the thingamabob that's still in the unopened box...so you cram it all back in and slam the door shut.

One step at a time, my friend. You can be free of your clutter and still sleep at night guilt-free!

1. Get two large cardboard boxes and one laundry basket. Tape a sign on each: "Donate" and "Trash" on the boxes and "Consign" on the laundry basket.

2. Women's, and children's clothing, shoes, and accessories in good condition that you don't wear anymore and outgrown go into the "Consign" basket. Usable items in working condition that you don't use go into the donate box. Items that would be no good to anyone (broken, missing pieces, very dirty, etc) go into the trash box.

3. As soon as you are done with your sort, close up the trash box and take out to your trashcan. Don't give yourself time to rethink; just do it.

4. Close up the donate box and take out to your vehicle. Again, don't give yourself time to think about it; just do it. The next time you go anywhere, swing by your local charity and drop it off. Remember to get a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

5. Take the consign basket to a well-lighted area and do a quick check, making sure each item is free of stains and that zippers and buttons are present and working. Lay your items as flat as possible back into the laundry basket. Cover the basket with a clean bath towel and put in your car.

6. Head over to Another Time Around. You don't need an appointment; you can bring items between 10:30 and 4:00, Monday through Friday and 10:30 and 3:00 on Saturdays. You can choose to earn money with your items or accumulate store credit.

Woman's consignment now open

We are excited to announce the opening of Another Time Around- Woman's Clothing and a whole lot more. The new store is located adjacent to our existing children's store at 12340 Shelbyville Rd. We have a items arriving daily, including clothing, purses, and shoes. We offer a wide selection from everyday wear, business, and formal wear. Some popular brands we have received include Ann Taylor, Diesel, It Jeans, and many more.

Another Time Around is also proud to announce an entire department devoted to maternity clothing. We are one of the few stores to offer a consigned maternity clothing in the Louisville Metro area. Maternity wear is worn for such a short time period, yet a very expensive investment. Shopping for consigned maternity clothing offers a great way to save large amounts of money yet still dress stylish.

While shopping for yourself be sure and check out the wonderful selection of children's clothing and baby equipment. We also carry Little Pink Ladybug hair bows, that will help you accessories all your daughter's clothes.
